Sweet, sugar-free and smooth: 96 kcal apple cake

Every time I have some (over)ripe bananas I put them to good with a left-over banana cake recipe. But why not use apples instead for an apple cake? Sounds different right, but I promise you it’s worth to try it out. For this recipe, I used apple sauce which makes the structure really smooth and the taste really sweet. But, and here comes the most surprising part, it’s sugar-free and low on calories. Sounds yummy, right?
