Cheers to happy and healthy ch-ch-ch-chia pudding making! Is breakfast your favorite meal of the day too? I think this healthy chia pudding recipe with banana is a must-try foodies! Cheer up your mornings with a creamy, sweet and energy-boosting chia seed pudding!
Personally, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! From the moment I wake up, I’m already thinking about FOOOOD and what to eat for breakfast today? In order to obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle, I think it’s really important to make your meals fun and vary. With a little help, you can easily turn your healthy meal into a delicious treat. Like chia seed pudding for example!
For me it’s important that recipes are healthy, but also fast, easy and simple to make. I’m not that too-much-ingredients type of girl and I found a new recipe that meets all those requirements. I’ve seen these chia pudding photo’s before on Instagram, but never thought it would be so yummy! I’m in love since my first bite and ever since I keep on pimpin’ it up with different fruits and superfoods.
Chia seed pudding for breakfast is packed with fiber, omegas, protein, magnesium and potassium and thus great for boosting energy. I’ve read that it even helps to regulate digestion, which makes me even happier. It’s so cool how the chia seeds will gelatinize overnight and the pudding will thicken up nicely. Are you convinced to try this at home? Here’s how!
INGREDIENTS
– 3 tbspn chia seeds
– 150 ml milk (almond or coconut milk) or water (water gives you less flavor)
– low-fat yoghurt
– banana
– optional topping: chopped cocos and cacao nibs
